Honors Convocation Information
The 2025-2026 Honors Convocation ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 30at the Ballad Health Center for the Performing Arts on 博彩平台 State’s Blountville campus. Registration begins at 6:15 p.m., and the ceremony will start promptly at 7 p.m.
Convocation Timeline
All award winners should check-in at the registration table in the Ballad Health Center for the Performing Arts lobby by 6:30 p.m. and be seated no later than 6:45 p.m. Honors Convocation will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. A photographer will be available following the ceremony for anyone who would like to have pictures taken.

Guest parking is available in Student Parking Lot 12, located directly in front of the Ballad Health Center for the Performing Arts. View our parking map.

What is Honors Convocation?
Honors Convocation is an annual celebration recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of 博彩平台 State students. The ceremony awards top performers in each academic department, honors students graduating with academic distinction, and acknowledges the accomplishments of high‑achieving scholars.
How many guests can attend?
Because seating capacity is limited for Honors Convocation, each award winner may reserve a maximum of three tickets—one for yourself and two for your guests. Check your student email for your R.S.V.P. link, and please respond with your attendance status no later than Thursday, April 9, 2026.
Is there reserved seating? Can I sit with my guests?
Award recipients will be seated in a reserved section at the front of the theatre to ensure that the ceremony runs smoothly. Each student will receive an assigned seat number upon check-in. All guests are welcome to sit in the guest section located at the back of the theatre.
How long will the ceremony last?
The length of each ceremony is approximately one hour, but this will depend on the number of award recipients participating.
What is the dress code for the ceremony?
Students are encouraged to wear business casual or professional attire. Award recipients will be invited on stage to receive their recognition.
My guests and/or I require special accommodations. What do I do to receive them?
